Raised by the Waves (Vegan and Vegetarian)- Our local residences, Grace and Brycen work here! They serve up breakfast/lunch and have a wide variety of healthy & fresh options. Closed on Monday’s
The Country Eatery (Vegan and Vegetarian)- Best coffee this side of Waimea Bay. Fresh pressed juices, grab and go snacks as well as entrees. We love the Falafel Salad with cultured veggies. Be sure to grab a protein cookie!
Seven Brothers Burgers– Hungry for a juicy burger and fries? Local beef and a secret sauce set the bar high.
Kahuku Beer Garden– Locally crafted beers on tap, wine by the class, and libations to-go. Grab your food from the surrounding Sugar Mill food trucks and eateries and bring it here to pair with your drinks.
Ken’s Fresh Fish – You can buy fresh fish by the pound or order lunch. Our favorite is the Ahi Katsu and their secret aioli sauce is magic!
Kahuku Farms – Stop by the farm for a fresh smoothie, local style desserts or farm pizza. Easy to order and great prices.
Roy’s Beach House at Turtle Bay– Our favorite restaurant on the whole island. Warning you may want to lick your plate. We especially like the brussel sprouts, black cod and pineapple martini’s!
Lei Lei’s at Turtle Bay – Family friendly dining on the Turtle Bay golf course. Great for lunch or dinner. Can’t go wrong with anything you order here.
Alaia at Turtle Bay – Sit down dining overlooking Turtle Bay. The menu changes weekly with what’s fresh/ in season. Beautiful decor and ambiance. They have a drink called “Don’t touch the turtles” that’s noteworthy.
Near Sunset / Sharks Cove
Ted’s Bakery– The long line is worth it! Fresh bakery goods, pies, breakfast and lunch plates.
Elephant Truck– Perfect food after a day of surfing or lounging on the beach. Our go-to take out dinner spot.
Sunrise Shack– Colorful smoothie bowls, papayas filled with peanut butter and homemade fresh granola. A few clever locals started this eatery with the idea of convenient superfoods and bulletproof coffees. Lots of opportunities to get a Instagram moment here! Two North Shore locations at Sunset Beach & Sharks Cove
Pupukea Grill– This little blue food truck by Sharks cove has been a local staple for years. They have hand rolled sushi, acai bowls, island caught ahi poke bowls,and lots more. GF/Vegan options (closed on Mondays)
Aji Limo Truck– Peruvian food with an island twist. Big menu of salads, tacos, fish and more. Highly recommend a side of their “Tiger Sauce” with your entree.
Hale’iwa
Haleiwa Joe’s – a Quintessential North Shore restaurant. Similar vibe to a Chart House. Coconut prawns, ahi steaks, prime ribs and Mai Tai’s. Fun and family friendly.
Waialua Bakery – Sandwiches on homemade baked fresh bread, $1 cookies and tons of smoothie options. Cash only!
Spaghettini – Huge pieces of pizza by the slice. Pesto pasta is pretty yummy.
Beet Box Cafe (Vegan and Vegetarian) – Delicious vegetarian burritos, plates and bowls. Fresh pressed juices and smoothies. Good kids menu. Love their walnut mint chip cookie or any of their treats.
Poke for the People– Poke bowls and salads. Locals claim this is the best poke bowl on the North Shore.
Haleiwa Bottle Shop – Locally crafted beers to-go, curated collection of great wines and liquors. In the same space is a little shop called Bodega. Casey the owner sells all the picnic essentials, foodie lover gifts, and has a freezer stocked with Local Sustainable and Organic Meats from Forage Meats.
Wicked Hi Cafe – Ever had a Honey Slush? Exotic flavors like dragon fruit and lilikoi are turned into a slush topped with honey from the owner’s hive. They also serve fermented sourdough pizzas and great salads.
Aji Limo Restaurant– Excellent Peruvian bistro with creative drinks. Try the flaming scallops!
